Job Description


As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Greensboro, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will report observations, communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and site contacts, and provide customer service that reflects our caring culture. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the property, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity or conditions that could help to deter unwanted behavior.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or public emergency services as required by post orders.
  • Monitor entrances and key areas to help manage authorized access, provide directions and information, and report maintenance or security-related concerns to the appropriate parties.
  • Complete detailed written reports of daily activities, patrol observations, and incident response actions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Being able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
