As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will complete routine foot patrols, monitor access points, and document security-related activity while maintaining a visible presence that helps to reduce incidents. You will greet employees and visitors with strong customer service, communicate clearly with site contacts, and support a caring, people-first culture. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or potential hazards; working conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor and vendor entry processes, including checking identification, issuing temporary badges, and/or directing traffic flow in accordance with site rules.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or calls for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrol activity, incidents, and/or policy violations, and communicate observations to supervisors and client contacts to support follow-up actions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
