As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol in Bohemia, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor grounds and key areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and your Allied Universal team, and deliver helpful customer service. In this role, you will bring integrity, teamwork, and an agile, reliable approach to every shift in a caring, people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and coordinating with site leadership and/or local responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access by verifying credentials, managing visitor check-in, directing deliveries to designated areas, and observing for prohibited items and/or unauthorized entry attempts.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate observations and security-related concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
