As a Security Officer X-Ray Screener Driver in Winston Salem, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Screener at a financial institution, you will help support a welcoming, controlled entry experience by conducting screening, monitoring assigned areas, and communicating clearly with visitors and staff. You will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver customer service with integrity and teamwork, reflecting Allied Universal values of being agile, reliable, innovative, and people first. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution.
  • Screen and process employees, visitors, and contractors at designated entry points by checking identification, authorizations, and visitor logs, and directing individuals to the appropriate areas.
  • Monitor access points and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and/or communications equipment, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with on-site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and to identify conditions that may require reporting or corrective action.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2+ years of security experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
