As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols and high-visibility presence to help discourage security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and respond to concerns with calm professionalism. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter areas, observing for unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Control access by monitoring doors, checking identification and/or visitor logs as required, and helping to direct authorized visitors to appropriate locations.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, shift activity logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate key updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
