As a Security Officer - Neighborhood Patrol Driver in Aiea, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, assist guests and tenants with directions and concerns, and document activity with clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying site management and/or law enforcement when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the shopping center, including common areas, corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance hazards, and document observations in reports and/or activity logs per post orders.
• Control access and support property operations by verifying authorized entry, providing directions to customers and tenants, and/or coordinating with mall staff during events, deliveries, and peak traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
