You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, document observations, and assist employees and visitors with clear, respectful communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes; note and report unusual conditions and maintenance hazards.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, support badge and/or guest check-in procedures, and help maintain orderly traffic flow in lobbies and shared spaces.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed and assisting with scene control until relieved.
  • Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, use radios and/or electronic reporting tools, and communicate observations to site contacts during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 plus years of security experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
