You will conduct routine patrols and vehicle rounds, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, labs, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access control points and technology areas, verifying credentials and directing individuals according to site rules and visitor management procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notification of leadership, and coordination with first responders as needed.
  • Complete patrol, incident, and shift activity reports, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
