As a Security Officer - Hospital Morgue Patrol in Palm Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and communication. You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report unusual activity, and respond professionally to calls for assistance. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, access concerns, and/or fire and life emergency alarms.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and perimeter, including parking areas, entrances, waiting areas, and common corridors. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry by observing authorized access practices, providing directions, and reporting suspicious activity per site procedures.
  • Complete security-related reports and documentation for incidents, patrol findings, and/or policy violations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Work at a hospital site with vaccines.
  • Work at a hospital site with a morgue.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
