What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access for employees, contractors, and drivers by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing entry and exit points, and directing traffic flow as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, yards, docks, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, communicate observations to site contacts, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and shipping and receiving gate documentation as required, and coordinate with supervisors and/or local responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• X-Ray Screening Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
