You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and report concerns with clear, professional communication. You will also assist visitors and staff with courteous customer service while working as part of a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and guided by integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and assigned security-related procedures at a government location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting hazards, damage, and/or suspicious activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls for service, and/or building alarms, and coordinate with site contacts and public responders as directed.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorizations, monitoring visitor flow, and maintaining logs and required documentation.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate status updates to supervision, and assist with emergency response activities as outlined in post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Security Experience ‐ 2+ Years.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
