As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Fort Myers, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control points, respond to requests, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication and detailed reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Control access by verifying identification and/or site authorization, managing visitor check-in and badge procedures, and monitoring entry and exit points per site requirements.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate key information during shift turnover, and assist with monitoring cameras and/or security-related systems as required by the post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
