As a Security Officer - Patrol Specialist in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to reports, and provide strong customer service and communication to staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Help to monitor access at truck gates, entrances, and yard areas by observing activity, verifying visitor and/or driver information as directed, and reporting irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, dock doors, trailer yards, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Complete security-related reports and logs such as patrol activity, incident documentation, and shift turnover communications per location requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
