Job Description


As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Rounds in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm professionalism. You will support staff and visitors through strong customer service and clear communication, while documenting key activities. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Perform armed post duties in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and site-specific protocols, including proper handling and secure storage requirements as applicable.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, coordinating with site leadership, and requesting law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree.
  • Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED.
  • Be at least 21+ Years of Age.
  • Armed Guard Card/License - preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
