Job Description


As a Security Officer Flex Vehicle Patrol Driver in Pryor, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will patrol assigned areas, complete visible rounds, and respond to security-related concerns to help to deter incidents. You will document activity, communicate professionally with site personnel, and support a smooth daily operation through teamwork and integrity. This is a driving post, so you will need a valid driver’s license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, yards, trailer areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or irregular conditions.
  • Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and drivers, verifying authorization, maintaining visitor and delivery logs, and directing traffic flow for docks and staging areas as assigned.
  • Complete required reports such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
