As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Rover in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a highly visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and unusual activity. You will support staff and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication while documenting observations and following site procedures. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Perform armed patrol duties, maintaining required weapon retention and proper handling practices in accordance with Allied Universal policies and post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per site requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, lobbies, customer areas, corridors and the exterior perimeter as directed.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, checking credentials when applicable, watching for irregular activity and helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor and/or manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
