As a Security Officer - Part-Time Patrol Driver in North Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a memorial park location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with respectful customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with the team, and respond to concerns with professionalism and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a memorial park location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control, visitor questions, and coordination with onsite personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of grounds, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor for unusual conditions such as open gates, unauthorized vehicles, trespassing, vandalism indicators, and/or after-hours activity, and report findings per post orders.
  • Complete required reports such as activity logs and incident reports, document security-related observations, and communicate timely updates to supervision and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
