As a Security Officer - Part-Time Patrol in Raytown, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify authorization as required, and document entries, exits, and escorted movements per site guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, provide clear directions to occupants, and notify site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations during shift handoff, and support other site operations such as key control and lost and found when assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
