You will conduct routine patrols, support access control and visitor badging, respond to alarms, and document activity using a computer and/or tablet. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and other security-related policies, and/or assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter lines, as required by the location.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete required reports and logs such as patrol activity reports, incident reports, and shift notes using site-required tools and/or systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
