As a Security Officer - Perimeter Watch Patrol in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotels and resorts location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, greet guests and staff with professionalism, and communicate clearly while using site systems as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors at a hotel and resort location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest concerns, disturbances, and requests for assistance, and/or coordinating with property management and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, lobbies, meeting and event spaces, back-of-house areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe for suspicious behavior, unauthorized entry, lost property concerns, and/or potential hazards, reporting findings per site procedures.
• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, and support crowd management during peak occupancy and special events as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
