Job Description


As a Security Officer - Facility Patrol in Arlington, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an automotive finance location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related issues. You will support access points, report concerns, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and your Allied Universal team. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by following site-specific policies, completing required security-related procedures, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the location, including offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify conditions that may need attention.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and document entries, exits, and deliveries according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services and assisting with scene control until relieved.
  • Complete routine logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate observations and status updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
