As a Security Officer - PT Patrol Driver in Brookwood, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use a company or site vehicle to cover large areas, complete patrol checks, and communicate clearly with site contacts. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal and location-specific security-related procedures, post orders, and access requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site policy.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with onsite contacts, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Complete detailed reports on patrols, observations, incidents, and corrective actions taken, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
