As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, maintain a highly visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. You will document activity, support access control, and collaborate with site leaders and teammates. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with Allied Universal post orders, including maintaining proper weapon retention, conducting authorized access control checks and/or assisting with the secure transport of high-value items as directed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to local law enforcement and/or management when appropriate and completing required notifications.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, ATMs and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify irregular conditions.
  • Complete written and/or electronic incident reports, patrol logs and shift documentation, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal supervision and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or adult corrections experience.
  • Be 21 or more years of age.
  • Have five or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have CPR certification preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
