As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support residents, guests, and vendors with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, report concerns, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and always acts with integrity while putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe arriving and departing vehicle and foot traffic, assisting with directions, parking guidance, and entry protocols as required by post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting onsite management and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and unusual observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
