You will complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with calm communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with wayfinding and de-escalation support when needed.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, observe and report hazards and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate with site leadership and/or public responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
