As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist with access control, communicate clearly with team members and site personnel, and document observations and incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, trailer yard, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, driver, and contractor check-in and/or verification in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete routine reports and document observations, patrol results, and incident details for shift turnover and management review.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years’ armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
