Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor access control points and visitor flow, verify authorization as required, and report irregularities such as propped doors, restricted-area violations, and/or unattended items.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and/or fire and utility alarms, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or responding agencies.
  • Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, escalate issues through the chain of command, and assist with maintaining order during sensitive healthcare operations such as after-hours activity and/or high-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
