As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas as an armed patrol officer, helping to reduce security-related incidents through a visible presence, routine rounds, and clear communication with staff and visitors. You will respond to concerns with professionalism, document key activity, and deliver customer service with integrity. This role requires a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit and Act 235 Qualification.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and coordinating with medical staff and/or local responders as needed.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, and help to control traffic flow during peak donation hours, deliveries, and shift changes.
• Complete required reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate notable activity to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess an Act 235 Qualification Pennsylvania only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
