As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Antioch, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor management. You will respond to alarms and service calls, document observations, and communicate clearly with site personnel and local responders. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, yards, access roads, and perimeter areas, adjusting patrol patterns based on site conditions and activity levels.
• Monitor access control points and verify identification and/or authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors; document entries, exits, and deliveries per post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate updates to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation; report maintenance hazards, damaged fencing, lighting outages, and other conditions that may impact operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
