As a Security Officer Flex Unarmed Rover Driver in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, monitor access points, and help to identify and report security-related concerns. You will stay visible, support access control, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication with tenants, guests, and onsite teams. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout commercial property areas including lobbies, parking areas, loading docks, and exterior perimeters; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing foot and vehicle traffic according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including writing clear reports and communicating with site management and/or local responders as needed.
  • Perform routine observations and document security-related hazards, maintenance issues, and policy concerns, then escalate findings through the proper channels per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of security experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
