As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols of yards, dock areas, and entrances, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and document observations and reports. You will support employees and drivers with clear communication, access guidance, and a customer-service mindset. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, loading docks, trailer and truck areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, driver, and employee entry and/or exit in accordance with site procedures, including directing traffic flow when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Complete security-related reports and maintain logs of patrols, incidents, and unusual observations, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
