Job Description


As a Security Officer - Lobby Concierge Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at the front desk of a financial services location, where you will welcome visitors, verify access, manage badges, monitor cameras and alarm activity, and document security-related incidents with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will represent a caring, people-first culture while supporting a reliable, agile team that acts with integrity and brings innovative service to every interaction.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Control access to the location by screening visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate destination.
  • Monitor lobby activity, cameras and/or alarm panels as assigned, and report suspicious or unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Complete required documentation such as incident reports, visitor logs, and shift activity reports, and communicate key information during post briefings.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Applicants must have 4+ years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
  • Applicants must have a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associates degree with 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
