As a Security Officer - Armed Driver Rounds in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols and perimeter checks, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and calls for service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and an armed guard card or license. • 1 year of Security, Law Enforcement or Military Experience

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a chemical and/or petrochemical location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Perform armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, loading docks, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor and respond to alarms, access control systems, and radio communications; verify badges and/or credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors as required by site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with site contacts, and documenting actions taken.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports, log entries, and incident documentation; report hazards, suspicious activity, and equipment issues to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
