Job Description


As a Security Officer- Armed - Financial Facility in Boerne, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access points and customer interactions with clear, professional communication. This is an armed post requiring an Armed Guard Card/license. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Carry and responsibly maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines, state and local laws and site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifying law enforcement and/or management and completing required notifications.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or unauthorized access.
  • Complete security-related reports and documentation such as incident reports, shift activity logs and/or patrol reports, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An Armed Guard Card or license is required.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
