As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will greet tenants and visitors, communicate clearly, and document observations with professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance hazards or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unauthorized entry, loitering, and other security-related concerns; provide directions and assistance as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, and fire or alarm activations; notify site contacts and public responders when required.
  • Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate security-related updates to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer Service Experience - preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
