As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely response to needs. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance to staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and direct individuals to appropriate departments while following site-specific sign-in and badging practices.
  • Document and report security-related activities, incidents, and observations using written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
