What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, customers, and visitors at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, observe activity for unusual conditions, and verify credentials and/or visitor purpose per site procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public responders as directed by post orders.
  • Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in reports and logs, and communicate relevant information during shift changes and/or as requested by site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
