Job Description


As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to conduct rounds and respond to needs across the site. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols on a regular and random basis throughout the property, including offices, lobbies, and perimeter areas, documenting observations per site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and request assistance from on-site management and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow, help to deter unauthorized entry, and verify identification and/or authorization in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete required reports such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity documentation, and communicate notable conditions to supervisors and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
