As a Security Officer Roving Patrol Driver in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed driving patrol officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will complete routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication. This post requires a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout tech office and operations areas, including exterior perimeters, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors; manage badging, visitor logs, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and electronic systems; communicate key information during shift turnovers to support continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security Experience ‐ 6+ Months.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard Card/License - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
