As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Albany, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will complete routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related concerns, and respond to calls for assistance with professionalism and calm communication. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with customer service and clear reporting while working as part of a team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, calls for assistance, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to medical staff and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas such as lobbies, corridors, waiting areas, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.
• Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying visitor credentials, directing visitors to approved destinations, and/or assisting with after-hours access protocols.
• Complete detailed reports of security-related incidents, patient and/or visitor disturbances, property concerns, and/or unusual activity, and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X‐Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
