As an Armed Patrol Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, while providing clear communication and customer service to employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will travel between assigned areas as needed, respond to calls for assistance, and document activity with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial services location by carrying out armed post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and help to maintain orderly entry and exit for authorized personnel and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, suspicious activity reports, and disturbances, and coordinate with site contacts and local authorities as directed.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, patrol observations, and incident response actions, and communicate relevant information during shift briefings and post transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
