As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols of yards, buildings, and access points while maintaining a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with drivers, employees, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to on-site leadership and/or public emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of parking areas, entrances, yard and/or dock areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and driver authorization per site procedures, and maintain written and/or electronic logs of patrols, inspections, and incidents.
• Observe and report hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or applicable license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
