As a Security Officer - Part-Time Patrol in DALLAS, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access points and visitor flow as needed. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and respond to concerns with a customer service mindset. You will be part of a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and always acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
  • Control access by verifying identification and/or credentials, monitoring visitor and contractor entry, and maintaining logs in accordance with site requirements.
  • Complete detailed reports and documentation of patrols, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A Guard Card and/or security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
