As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a high-technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests with calm, professional communication. You will document observations, coordinate with site contacts, and support access control and incident response while living our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols at a technology-focused location, including exterior perimeter and interior common areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and manage visitor, vendor, and delivery entry in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with site contacts and/or public response resources, and completing required actions.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic reports, communicate key information during shift handoff, and support site compliance with required logs and checks.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an armed guard card/license.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
