You will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, assist guests and tenants with directions and concerns, and document activity using site technology. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant and/or customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or hazard concerns.
• Control access to non-public areas by monitoring doors and service corridors, verifying credentials as required, and directing visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs, and communicate observations and follow-up needs to Allied Universal leadership and onsite management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
