As a Security Officer - Civic Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas through routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with clear communication and professionalism. You will document observations, escalate concerns, and support visitors and staff with strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at a government location by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and assist with directing visitors to appropriate offices or service areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Communicate promptly with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed, and complete daily activity logs and incident reports in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• State, county, or city issued security license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
