As a Security Officer - Armed Branch Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institutions location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, clear communication. You will support employees and visitors with a customer-focused approach while documenting activity and reporting concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Carry and maintain assigned duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and company policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, access control concerns, and/or suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity.
• Complete detailed security-related reports and logs, communicate observations to site contacts and/or dispatch, and support access control by monitoring authorized entry and visitor flow.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years’ combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
