As a Security Officer - Utilities Site - Full Time in Maidsville, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will support site operations with clear communication, helpful customer service, and timely reporting of observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a utilities environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or Allied Universal management per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility operations areas, access points, buildings, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
• Monitor and control access for employees, contractors, and visitors by verifying authorization, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries as required.
• Complete detailed reports of patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and maintain logs and communications using site systems and/or Allied Universal tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
