As a Security Officer - Refinery Perimeter Patrol in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, document observations, and respond to situations with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to alarms, releases, fires, medical events, and other critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or public responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of process areas, tank farms, loading and unloading zones, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points, check credentials, control visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate logs for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete required reports and documentation, communicate observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership, and support investigations by preserving facts and directing people to appropriate resources.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
