As a Security Officer - Defense Rover Driver in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state, so you may move between areas as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, assisting with visitor processing, and directing personnel according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting concerns through the chain of command.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate security-related information to site contacts, and support administrative tasks such as key control and/or badge accountability as required by post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience OR 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years' security experience.
• Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
